RFTEC Announces Research Clinical Results of HA Filler 'YouthFill'... "Proven Superior Quality Compared to Foreign Products"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] RF Bio, a subsidiary of RF Tech, has proven that its new hyaluronic acid (HA) filler ‘YouthFill’ manufactured by the company has outstanding wrinkle improvement effects compared to foreign fillers.
RF Bio announced on the 27th that it presented the wrinkle improvement effects of YouthFill at the ‘22nd Spring Academic Conference of the Korean Dermatological Association’ after conducting multi-center clinical trials with leading dermatologists in Korea. This investigator-initiated clinical trial was conducted over six months at five hospitals with 21 participating patients.
Dr. Nakkyung Noh, director of Cheongdam Leaders Dermatology Clinic, said, “We conducted a comparative clinical trial with foreign filler brands that have a high global market share,” adding, “The test results showed that YouthFill demonstrated wrinkle improvement effects equal to or even superior to the control group, and patient satisfaction was higher.” He further noted, “Especially for deep and difficult-to-treat nasolabial folds, it showed excellent results, with no deformation or adverse reactions after injection.”
Dr. Heedae Jeon, director of Banobagi Dermatology Clinic, who participated in the clinical trial, explained, “Safety and durability are very important for hyaluronic acid fillers, and side effects such as delayed immune responses can occur even six months after the procedure,” adding, “During the clinical period, YouthFill showed no such side effects, confirming that its volumizing effect as a filler is also excellent.”
Dr. Dongjin Lim, director of Rezien Dermatology Clinic, emphasized, “After using YouthFill for more than six months, it does not fall behind foreign fillers in terms of quality and patient satisfaction,” and added, “I believe it is a competitive product not only in Korea but also in overseas markets.”
