Gyeonggi Institute of Economy and Science Takes Initiative to Foster Talent in AR·VR Industry
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will conduct 'Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) Convergence Technology Training' for workers in manufacturing, distribution, and construction industries.
The Gyeonggi Institute of Economic Science and Technology announced on the 23rd that it is recruiting trainees for the beginner course of 'AR and VR Convergence Technology Training' until the 3rd of next month.
This project is being promoted to foster the convergence of industries such as manufacturing, distribution, and construction with VR and AR technologies.
The training courses include ▲ manufacturing process learning content ▲ AR shopping ▲ interior implementation in virtual spaces.
The training will be conducted in Seongnam Pangyo and Uijeongbu respectively, providing equal technical education opportunities to the northern region as well.
The beginner course will be held in two sessions: the first in August and the second in September. Graduates will receive a certificate of completion along with opportunities for intermediate and advanced training (intermediate in October, advanced scheduled for November).
