Logispot Digitizes Transportation Operations of Pharmaceutical Products and Raw Materials for Boryung Pharmaceutical
Digitalization of Additional Transportation Tasks Following the Expansion of Boryung Pharmaceutical's Yesan Production Complex in Chungnam
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Logistics service company Logispot announced on the 23rd that it has signed a supply contract for 'Integrated Transportation Management Service' with Boryung Pharmaceutical to digitalize the transportation methods of pharmaceutical products and raw materials.
Boryung Pharmaceutical newly completed a pharmaceutical production plant in Yesan, Chungnam last year and has been operating it in full scale since this year. To efficiently handle the additional transportation tasks resulting from this, they decided to adopt Logispot's integrated transportation management service.
Until now, tasks from dispatching freight trucks to completing transportation were handled through frequent contact via phone and email, but by digitalizing these processes, visibility into the freight transportation process is expected to be secured. Tasks that were managed by recording transportation information one by one in Excel can now easily and conveniently secure data through digitalization, enabling integrated transportation management.
Additionally, as the supply of raw materials for medical product production and the transportation tasks of finished medical products to regional factories and clients proceed systematically, productivity improvement of transportation staff and overall logistics efficiency through organic communication are also anticipated.
