[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Korea Youth Startup Competition, which discovers and awards outstanding youth startup clubs, will be held.
The Ministry of Education announced on the 23rd that it will hold the 6th startup competition this year in collaboration with 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education and the Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation.
This year, considering the infectious disease situation such as the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the competition will be held online using the virtual startup experience function on the startup experience education website.

Applications for this competition will be accepted online only until September 4th. For all youth startup clubs that apply, the Ministry of Education will hold an online business briefing session and evaluate virtual startup experience activities. The finals will be conducted in the form of a real-time online business briefing and interviews for 20 youth startup clubs that pass the preliminary round. The list of winners will be announced in early December.
