BBQ Renewed Its Own App...Significantly Enhancing User Order Convenience
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Genesis BBQ announced on the 22nd that it has renewed its proprietary ordering application, significantly enhancing user convenience by adding features such as location-based automatic address input, gifting, and delivery status display.
Since April, BBQ has been developing the app renewal by setting a direction to make the BBQ app more intuitive and user-friendly through system diagnostics and surveys conducted among its youth marketers.
The renewed BBQ app displays real-time popular menus on the main screen and arranges buttons for menus, stores, and events to allow users easier access to necessary information with an intuitive layout. Features such as auto-login and the ability to add items directly to the cart from the menu screen have been added, and more menu items are displayed on the screen to enhance user convenience.
In particular, the app not only allows users to find nearby BBQ stores based on location but also adopts a delivery address auto-input feature that automatically finds the current location and inputs the address, unlike before when users had to manually enter the address for delivery. This enables easy ordering of BBQ from anywhere.
Additionally, the previous app’s limitation where online cancellation was not possible after ordering has been improved so that cancellations are allowed before the store accepts the order. A gifting feature has been added, allowing users to purchase and send BBQ products as gifts to acquaintances. A group order function has also been introduced.
