Assemblyman Kim Tae-ho Attends 'Hapcheon-gun Invitation Policy Meeting'
Discussion on Military Administration Issues and Measures to Secure National Road Funding

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 20th that it held a policy meeting in the large conference room on the 3rd floor of the county office, attended by National Assembly member Kim Tae-ho and more than 60 heads of major institutions and social organizations.
This policy meeting was organized to discuss urgent county administrative issues and measures to secure national and provincial funding.
The county governor requested approval for various administrative procedures and budget support of 91.5 billion won for 13 pending projects, including attracting a station for the Southern Inland High-Speed Railway, road construction for the Noyang~Jeongdae section of Local Road No. 1084, and the creation of a clean energy convergence complex.
At the suggestion of Assemblyman Kim, a separate session was held to gather opinions from attending institutions and social organization leaders, resulting in various proposals on county issues such as the construction of an all-weather sports theme park, the new building of a comprehensive cultural welfare center for the elderly, and measures regarding the selection of the Hwanggang water intake source.
The county governor said, “I explained the essential projects for Hapcheon’s future and sustainable development, and I ask for your help to ensure that these pending projects are reflected in national policies so that we can secure as much budget as possible.”
In response, Assemblyman Kim said, “I will explain the necessity of the projects to central government departments and strive to expedite their implementation. I will continue to consult and discuss local pending projects to unite the strength and will of Hapcheon residents.”
Starting with this policy meeting, Hapcheon-gun plans to communicate smoothly with the National Assembly member regarding county development and to make every effort to secure national and provincial funding through visits and explanations to relevant central government departments and institutions in the future.
