[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Dongbu Fire Station (Chief Choi Jeong-sik) announced on the 20th that it will promote 'fire safety consulting' for large hospitals until the end of this month.
In response to the recent hospital fire in Goheung that caused multiple casualties, the consulting will target eight general and large hospitals with inpatient rooms in the jurisdiction for proactive fire prevention.
Through this safety consulting, they plan to check ▲ the maintenance and management status of fire facilities within hospitals ▲ provide guidance on legal amendments such as retrofitting facilities for hospital-level medical institutions ▲ conduct training on the use of fire facilities ▲ and discuss evacuation guidance measures tailored to each hospital's circumstances.
