Gyeonggi Institute of Economy and Science Opens SW Instructor Training Course
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is launching a program to train software (SW) instructors.
The Gyeonggi Economic Science Agency announced on the 20th that it will open an 'SW Instructor Training Course' and recruit 120 trainees by the 2nd of next month to address the imbalance in SW education within the province and create a systematic educational environment.
The training course includes basic theories in the SW field, practical training, and teaching methods. The education will be conducted over a total of 160 hours during August and September, spanning two months. Through a detailed curriculum, participants will learn about artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, virtual and augmented reality (AR/VR), and more.
Among the graduates, 100 will be employed as SW Future Filling instructors and will conduct various SW education programs for elementary, middle, and high school students in the province from October this year to July next year, for a period of 10 months.
Applications are open to job seekers within the province, including unemployed youth, women with career interruptions, and retired experts. Special preference will be given to those majoring or experienced in SW specialized fields, residents of remote areas, and those who can operate a personal vehicle.
