KB Savings Bank Launches 'KB Kookmin Kiwi Bank Check Card' with Up to 2.1%p Rewards
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] KB Savings Bank announced on the 20th that it has launched the ‘KB Kookmin Kiwi Bank Check Card’ in partnership with KB Kookmin Card.
This card can be applied for through the Kiwi Bank mobile financial platform application (app) and can be used at all KB Kookmin Card affiliated stores nationwide in Korea. Up to 2.1% points (1 point = 1 KRW) are accumulated upon payment.
The point accumulation method consists of ‘basic accumulation’ and ‘additional accumulation.’ Basic accumulation provides 0.1% points accumulation without any monthly performance or limit restrictions for payments at domestic affiliated stores. Additional accumulation is provided when the previous month’s usage exceeds 300,000 KRW, with different accumulation limits and rates depending on the industry.
There is no annual fee, and a preferential interest rate of 0.2% is also applied to the Kiwi deposit and withdrawal account when using the check card. A basic interest rate of 1.3% is offered, and if there is usage performance with the KB Kookmin Kiwi Bank Check Card, customers can receive up to 1.5% annual interest, including the 0.2% preferential rate, on balances up to 1 million KRW.

Withdrawal fee exemption benefits at KB Kookmin Bank automated teller machines (ATMs) are also provided up to five times per month, and applications are available through the Kiwi Bank app and website.
