View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] On Sunday the 19th, the Jangma rain is expected to expand nationwide.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 18th, rain will begin from dawn in Chungnam, Jeolla-do, and western Gyeongnam, and by morning, rain is expected in most areas across the country.
Expected precipitation amounts are 50-150mm in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungnam, and the five West Sea islands (with more than 200mm in northern Gyeonggi-do), and 10-50mm in Gangwon Yeongdong, Chungbuk, Jeolla-do, Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island. Especially during the day, heavy rain exceeding 30mm per hour is forecasted in the central West Coast and inland northern Gyeonggi-do.
In areas where rain falls, there may be gusts of wind accompanied by thunder and lightning, so caution is needed in managing facilities.
The morning low temperature is forecasted to be 17-23 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature 22-30 degrees Celsius. Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' across all regions. Sea waves are expected to be 0.5-1.5m in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5-2m in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5-2m in the South Sea coastal waters.
