View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Writer Lee Dong-hyung and announcer Park Ji-hee have sparked controversy for making mocking remarks about the late Park Won-soon, former Seoul mayor, and his accuser on the broadcasts they appear on. They said things like, "Whenever she says something, it's called secondary victimization," and "I wonder what she was doing for four years and why she is reporting it now." Kim Jae-ryeon, the legal representative of the accuser, criticized this by saying, "Would you also ask the (Japanese military comfort women) grandmothers, 'Why only now?'"
On the 16th, Lawyer Kim posted on her Facebook, "A courageous cry! Grandma Kim Hak-soon finally raised her voice in 1991, 40 years after suffering sexual exploitation," expressing this view.
She posted again on Facebook, emphasizing, "Truth is not a matter of belief but a matter of fact," and "Facts cannot be denied just because you don't want to believe them!"

She continued, "She couldn't report it at first because of the position of the Seoul mayor," and added, "While saying she should have reported it from the beginning, I also want to ask why she couldn't report it at that time."
After these remarks sparked controversy over 'secondary victimization,' TBS issued an official statement. TBS said, "We request a correction of the facts regarding reports that inaccurately describe Park Ji-hee, who appeared as a freelance broadcaster on the 'Clean Zone Podcast,' as if she were a TBS announcer or that the remarks were made on 'TBS TV The Room,' which spreads unnecessary misunderstandings."

He also criticized the accuser, saying, "The defendant (former Mayor Park) has ended his life. He made an extreme choice. But she is hiding."
