On the 15th, Shin Min-a uploaded a video titled "Thank you very much, police officer, who is a cousin of SHINee's Taemin" on her YouTube channel.
In the video, Shin Min-a spoke through a voice recording without showing her face, saying, "I am sorry for causing a lot of concern at the Han River early yesterday morning. Because of that, I think I won't be able to use SNS for a while." She continued, "Yesterday, a police officer saved me and said many things. The police officer, who said he was a cousin of SHINee's Taemin, comforted my mother a lot. I am truly grateful. Although I did not see his face, I want to visit and thank him once I recover. Thank you."
Shin Min-a then addressed someone, saying, "And to those who are watching this YouTube video."
She said, "I am really suffering. Please stop. I will take a short break and come back when I feel ready to film again. I am sorry for worrying you."
Previously, Shin Min-a debuted and was active with I Love in November 2019 with the single album "Open the Door" before leaving the group.
Afterwards, rumors circulated that Shin Min-a was ostracized by the members during her activities.
Netizens believe that Shin Min-a has been stressed due to bullying-related issues.
On the 14th, a day before the incident, Shin Min-a posted on her Instagram account, "Many people contacted me after I posted two days ago. Thank you so much for your concern. I am truly grateful... I am sorry I haven't been able to reply to everyone yet." She added, "For the first time, I experienced my phone getting hot. Many people have been asking if I have eaten and if I am okay. I still cannot eat. I currently weigh 36kg."
