[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] It was confirmed on the 16th that one employee at the headquarters of the comprehensive advertising company Innocean Worldwide, located in Landmark Tower, Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Upon receiving this news, Innocean temporarily closed the nine floors of the workplace the previous day at 9 p.m. and sent all employees home. Currently, disinfection measures are being carried out throughout the entire building.
Employees who had close contact will work from home until the 24th of next week. The remaining employees will decide whether to come to work or work from home by department after observing for 2 to 3 days.
All employees on the affected floor are required to undergo COVID-19 testing regardless of symptoms or contact with the confirmed employee. Employees on other floors will also be tested at the company's expense if deemed necessary.
