Haman-gun Recruits 679 Participants for 'COVID-19' Hope Job Project

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Haman-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 14th that it is recruiting participants for the 'COVID-19 Overcome Hope Job Project' until the 22nd to support the livelihood stability of those unemployed due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and to revitalize the stagnant local economy.
This project will be conducted for up to 5 months from August to December, and anyone aged 18 or older with the ability to work who is a resident of the county can apply.
However, the county plans to prioritize the selection of vulnerable employment groups and those who have experienced unemployment or business closure due to COVID-19.
The total number of recruits is 679, including 125 youths aged 39 or younger and 554 for simple labor. The target projects include civil service assistance and environmental cleanup projects discovered by the departments and towns/myeon, allowing participants to work in various fields within the county.
Additionally, participants' working hours range from 20 to 40 hours per week, and wages will be paid from 700,000 to 1,800,000 KRW per month, including weekly/monthly allowances and snack expenses, depending on working hours.
