[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Gimhae City in Gyeongnam announced on the 13th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) for the 'Good Neighbor Platform for Community Recovery' project at the city hall meeting room, with about 20 participants including Good Neighbors, the project organizer, and residents of Hwalcheon-dong.
This project, selected in the 2020 Gyeongnam Province Social Innovation Living Lab contest, aims to strengthen the local community by receiving necessary goods from companies and delivering them to vulnerable groups experiencing social isolation, thereby increasing social connections.
The city plans to build a network among companies, small business owners, administration, and local residents, and to enhance various education and publicity efforts for role sharing among stakeholders, creating a model case for the innovation living lab project.
