One of Two Men in Their 70s Found Dead During Work in Stream in Hamyang Village
Two men missing in the village canal, 119 rescue workers are conducting a search operation.

At around 11:05 a.m. on the 13th, a 119 rescue worker conducting a search operation discovered a man dead near the stream in Sugok Village, Jigok-myeon.
The two men had earlier gone missing after being swept away by suddenly rising water while working to clear the village waterway using an excavator at around 9:23 a.m.
They are known to be the village chief and the excavator operator.
The location where one of the missing men was found is about 3 km away from the site where the waterway work was being carried out.
119 rescue workers and police are focusing on finding the other missing person.
