SKC President Iwan Jae Joins the 'Thanks to You Challenge'
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] SKC President Lee Wan-jae and members participated in the ‘Thanks To Challenge’ to express gratitude and support to medical staff and the public who are working hard to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The ‘Thanks To Challenge’ is a campaign initiated by the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters to overcome COVID-19. It proceeds by sharing photos expressing the sign language for respect along with supportive messages, and then nominating the next participants. Recently, recognizing the importance of public cooperation and solidarity in overcoming COVID-19, the campaign has expanded to ‘Thanks To the People,’ supporting all citizens.
President Lee Wan-jae joined the challenge upon being nominated by Toray Advanced Materials President Jeon Hae-sang. Members from SKC’s various business sites and investee companies also participated. This included members from SKC’s Seoul headquarters, Suwon and Jincheon business sites, as well as SKC Solmix, SK PIC Global, SKC High Tech & Marketing, and SK Nexilis, which became an SKC affiliate this year.
President Lee Wan-jae nominated Kolon Industries CEO Jang Hee-gu, Total Group Korea General Manager Shin Jeong-won, and Microsoft Korea CEO Lee Ji-eun as the next participants in the ‘Thanks To Challenge’ campaign.
