NHN Collaborates with iNavi Systems and Code42 to Develop Mobility Platform
Cloud-Based Mobility Service Operation Support
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] NHN announced on the 9th that it has signed a joint business agreement with iNavi Systems and Code42 to develop a global mobility platform and has formed the Umos Map Alliance.
Umos is an urban mobility platform being developed as a core business by Code42. It is planned to be commercialized as a vehicle-hailing and sharing service and smart logistics service integrating future mobility means such as autonomous vehicles, drones, and delivery robots.
iNavi Systems and Code42 are carrying out projects to enhance map data and technology such as maps, real-time traffic information, points of interest (POI), and road video information for the joint development of Umos. NHN provides the integrated cloud service 'TOAST' to the mobility platform and supports a real-time monitoring response system for cloud-based mobility service operation.
