Haenam-gun, 'Incentives for Companies and Youth' When Employing Young Workers
Up to 4 Years, Annual Payment of 4.5 to 5.5 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 8th that it will additionally recruit companies to participate in the Jeonnam Youth Retention Incentive Support Project to promote youth employment and long-term retention in small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Jeonnam Youth Retention Incentive Support Project provides employment incentives to companies that hire youth as regular employees, supporting up to 2 million KRW per company for 3 months per person and 3 million KRW to the youth.
In the second year, employment retention funds are provided quarterly, with up to 1.5 million KRW to the company and 3 million KRW to the youth, and in the third year, retention incentives of up to 1.5 million KRW to the company and 4 million KRW to the youth are supported.
If employment continues into the fourth year, a long-term retention fund of up to 5 million KRW is provided only to the youth.
The target companies are small and medium-sized enterprises located within the jurisdiction, with 5 to fewer than 300 employees insured under employment insurance, employing youth workers aged 18 to 39 in their 1st to 4th year of service.
Companies wishing to participate can download the related documents from the announcement section on the Haenam-gun website by the 10th and submit them in person or by mail to the Job Creation Team of the Population Policy Division at Haenam-gun Office.
