Busan Seobu Office of Education Implements Parent Participation Support Project in Curriculum at 5 Schools
Active Involvement in Creative Experiential, After-School Education, and COVID-19 Response Activities
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Busan Western Education Support Office has decided to implement a project this year in which parents participate in the curriculum at five schools within its jurisdiction.
On the 3rd, the Western Education Office announced that it will carry out the "2020 Parent Curriculum Participation Support Project" targeting five schools in Seo-gu: Daesin Elementary School, Songdo Elementary School, Ami Elementary School, Cheonma Elementary School, and Gyeongnam Middle School.
This project is a newly launched initiative this year aimed at expanding the parent participation support projects currently being implemented in the Yeongdo and Saha Happy Education Districts to other schools in the area.
The project provides 3 million won in funding per school to the five schools selected through a public contest. Parents actively participate in various fields such as creative experiential activities, after-school educational activities, and COVID-19 response activities.
