Timon 'Tivion' Participates in Donghaeng Sale Live Commerce Special Event
Effective Online Sales Channel Support for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses through TVion
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] TMON (CEO Lee Jin-won) announced that it participated in the special event of the "Korea Together Sale, Let's Buy Value," held from the 1st to the 3rd at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium through a non-face-to-face live commerce format.
This special event was a government-led event themed around live commerce, which has emerged as a new non-face-to-face and digital consumption culture in the post-COVID-19 era. In particular, on the 2nd, President Moon Jae-in visited the event venue with First Lady Kim Jung-sook to observe the live commerce site and encouraged companies by saying, "As we enter an era where the non-face-to-face industry will become a future growth engine, Korea gains confidence that it can lead even the non-face-to-face industry." TMON CEO Lee Jin-won also attended the event that day.
At this event, which expressed the government's will to promote non-face-to-face consumption to revive the sluggish economy and support small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners, TMON led product sales through the live broadcast on the live commerce channel 'TVON'. On the 2nd at 7 p.m., the broadcast selling Uiseong plums and Yeongju Nadri Jjolmyeon, featuring mukbang creator Tzuyang and singer Soyou as special guests, sold out all prepared quantities in about 20 minutes.
