Startup Support Including Talk Concert Inviting Entrepreneur Former Researchers
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] Jeonbuk National University announced on the 1st that it held the '2020 1st Tech Startup Academy' at Namwon Sweet Hotel to promote laboratory startups among graduate students.
According to Jeonbuk National University, as part of the laboratory-specialized startup leading university project, 22 graduate students participated in the event held from the 29th to the 30th.
During the event, expert lectures were conducted over one night and two days on topics such as 'Technology Startup Trend Analysis and Market Research' to encourage graduate students, members of university laboratories, to cultivate a business mindset and acquire practical startup know-how.
Additionally, a talk concert was arranged where two entrepreneur researchers currently operating venture companies through recent laboratory startups shared their startup stories.
Mentoring was also provided by matching experts to help graduate students participating in the education commercialize their technology items.
