Imsil-gun Designates Cheongung Middle School as a Dementia Overcoming Leading School
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun Dementia Relief Center designated Cheongung Middle School (Principal Jeong Yukjin) as a Dementia Overcoming Leading School and held a plaque presentation ceremony on the 29th, the center announced on the 30th.
Prior to this, on the 26th of last month, the center conducted education to improve negative perceptions of dementia and dementia awareness education for all students and staff of Cheongung Middle School to designate it as a Dementia Overcoming Leading School.
Based on what they learned through this education, Cheongung Middle School plans to play the role of dementia partners who understand dementia patients and their families, and work together to prevent dementia and support them.
Principal Jeong Yukjin said, “Through the designation as a Dementia Overcoming Leading School, I hope that all students will improve their negative perceptions of dementia and create a warm community that understands and cares for dementia patients and their families.”
