Goheung County Council Forms 8th Term Second Half Leadership... Song Young-hyun Elected Chairman
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Chunsu Kim] The Goheung County Council in Jeollanam-do announced on the 30th that it has completed the organization of the 8th term's second half during the 3rd plenary session of the 289th extraordinary meeting.
On this day, the Goheung County Council elected Song Young-hyun (re-elected) as the chairman and Lee Jae-hak (first-term) as the vice chairman to lead the second half of the 8th term.
Additionally, the chairpersons of the standing committees for the second half were elected as follows: Lee Yeon-sook (first-term) as chairperson of the Council Steering Committee, Park Mi-ok (first-term) as chairperson of the Administrative Autonomy Committee, and Kim Min-yeol (first-term) as chairperson of the Industry and Construction Committee.
Chairman-elect Song Young-hyun stated, “We will listen to and respect each council member’s opinions to create a cooperative council, fulfill the council’s original duties through checks and balances on the executive branch, and join hands for the benefit of the residents.”
