Google Launches AI Speaker with Screen 'Nest Hub' in South Korea
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Shinsegae I&C announced on the 30th that it will exclusively sell Google's artificial intelligence (AI) speakers 'Nest Hub' and 'Nest Mini' in South Korea.
The Nest Hub is Google's first AI speaker equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen that allows users to watch videos. It was first introduced in the United States in October 2018 under the name 'Home Hub.'
The Nest Hub can control all home network devices linked to the speaker from a single screen and is compatible with hundreds of smart devices through Google Assistant. The Nest Mini provides twice the powerful high-quality sound compared to the existing Google Home Mini.
The Nest Hub is priced at 115,000 KRW, and the Nest Mini at 64,900 KRW. They are available for purchase on SSG.com, Google Store, Gmarket, Auction, and 11st.
