The provincial Urban Regeneration University operates 'basic course education' and 'advanced course education,' targeting 'city and county urban regeneration support center staff, village activists, cultural planners, and related public officials' to cultivate basic competencies.
Since its inception in 2018, the program has invited domestic experts to provide urban regeneration theory and field education to develop problem-solving foundational skills in the 'Urban Regeneration Expert Training Course.'
So far, 169 experts have graduated, and 37 completed the basic course held on the 26th at Kensington Resort in Hadong-gun, Gyeongnam.

Yoon In-guk, Director of the Urban Transportation Bureau of Gyeongnam Province, said, "The basic and advanced courses linked with practical work organized by the center will nurture talents needed for the digital, social, and green New Deal in the post-COVID-19 era," adding, "We will strive to ensure that urban regeneration projects realize social value."
