According to Daegu City, the new confirmed cases include a 6-year-old boy, A, residing in Dong-gu, who tested positive after visiting the Fatima Hospital screening clinic with fever symptoms. The other case is a colleague at the workplace (located in Chungbuk) of the Daejeon patient number 105, who was classified as a close contact and tested positive during the examination.
The quarantine authorities conducted COVID-19 tests on 141 individuals, including 110 kindergarten students and 31 staff members at the kindergarten attended by boy A. As a result, 138 tested negative, and 3 are currently awaiting test results.
