[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Joo-hee] Trot singers Song Dae-gwan and Tae Jin-ah revealed their warm senior-junior relationship on 'Morning Yard.'
On the 29th broadcast of KBS1's 'Morning Yard,' the special segment 'Meeting the Trot Legends' featured Song Dae-gwan as a guest.
On that day, Lee Yong-sik said, "Tae Jin-ah appeared last week and said he raised Song Dae-gwan on his back," to which Song Dae-gwan responded about Tae Jin-ah, "He often comes along, but today he's not here, so it's easier to breathe. It's comfortable without a mask," causing laughter.
When asked if they were actually rivals, Song Dae-gwan confessed, "We split the appearance fee in half, but who would like that? I get taken advantage of a lot," revealing the truth.
Later, Tae Jin-ah appeared holding a bouquet, drawing attention. Tae Jin-ah held Song Dae-gwan's hand and said, "I raised him on my back to make this moment possible," creating a heartwarming atmosphere.
Tae Jin-ah said, "Some people might think of Song Dae-gwan as a rival, but I have never considered him one. He is older than me and has many hit songs. He even received the Singer King award before me. Looking closely, it seems like the senior thinks of me as a rival," he said with a laugh.
Tae Jin-ah also said about Song Dae-gwan, "Everyone knows he copies me. When my song 'Yellow Handkerchief' became a hit, he came out with 'One Train Ticket.' When I sang 'Ok-gyeong,' he sang 'Our Soon-i.' The hyung is following me around," he said.
