Chairman Choi Byung-oh of Hyungji Joins 'Stay Strong' Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Choi Byung-oh, chairman of Fashion Group Hyungji, participated in the 'Stay Strong' challenge to help overcome the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
As COVID-19 has prolonged, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched the Stay Strong challenge in March, meaning 'let's endure strongly,' and various sectors have been actively participating.
Chairman Choi was nominated by Sohn Tae-seung, chairman of Woori Financial Group, to join the campaign, and he shared a photo holding a Stay Strong board on Fashion Group Hyungji's official Facebook page.
The board featured the official Stay Strong logo along with supportive messages such as "Cheer up Korea, Overcome COVID-19 #CocoCampaign" and "Fashion Group Hyungji stands together to overcome COVID-19."
Through his Facebook post, Chairman Choi said, "Until the day comes when we can freely enjoy the daily lives we once took for granted, let us gather our will and wisdom together."
He nominated the next participants in the relay: Koo Ja-kwan, chairman of Samkoo I&C; Koo Ja-chul, chairman of Yesco Holdings; and Kim Soo-il, secretary-general of the Asia-Pacific Tourism Promotion Organization (TPO).

Since March, Hyungji has been participating in overcoming COVID-19 by launching the 'Coco Campaign (Cheer up Korea, Overcome COVID-19).' They released organic masks through over 1,000 stores nationwide of Crocodile Lady, Chatelaine, and Olivia Hassler, and have been creating 'Safe Stores' to enhance cleanliness and hygiene.
