[Photo] Conservative Groups Secure Spots at Wednesday Rallies, Wednesday Protests in Crisis
On the 24th, university students affiliated with the Anti-Abe Anti-Japan Youth Student Coalition held a sit-in protest in front of the Statue of Peace at the former Japanese Embassy in Jongno-gu, Seoul, demanding an end to insults and disruptions of the Wednesday Demonstrations. Meanwhile, members of conservative groups such as the Liberty Solidarity held a rally condemning the Korean Council for Justice and Remembrance for the Issues of Military Sexual Slavery by Japan right next to them. The Wednesday Demonstrations, which had been held weekly in front of the former Japanese Embassy for 28 years, were relocated to in front of the Yonhap News Agency building after conservative groups including Liberty Solidarity secured the rally permit until mid-July./Reporter Kim Hyun-min kimhyun81@
