Changwon City Conducts Internet and Smartphone Overdependence Prevention and Healing Education for Youth
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Changwon City in Gyeongnam, through the Changwon Youth Counseling Welfare Center, will operate the youth internet and smartphone overdependence prevention and healing education program "Becoming the Digital Control King (王)" starting from the 23rd.
A total of 1,104 students from 10 selected elementary schools, grades 5 to 6, who applied in advance will participate in this education.
The education will begin at Sodap Elementary School on the 23rd and continue until November.
The "Becoming the Digital Control King (王)" program helps youth recognize problems caused by excessive use of the internet and smartphones, strengthens motivation for behavior modification, and fosters proper usage methods and self-regulation skills for digital devices.
