Gyeonggi Urban公 to Supply 371 Jeonse and Purchase Rental Units
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation is recruiting additional tenants for existing housing jeonse rental and purchase rental to stabilize housing for low-income families. The recruitment target is a total of 371 units, including 320 jeonse rental units and 51 purchase rental units.
This additional recruitment is conducted for residents of Goyang-si and Bucheon-si areas, which were not included in the tenant recruitment announcement on the 1st of this month.
The target housing includes detached houses, multi-family houses, multiplex houses, row houses, apartments, and residential officetels (only apartments for jeonse rental) that are within the national housing size (85㎡) or less.
Applicants must be members of a non-homeowner household residing in cities and counties within the province, including recipients of livelihood and medical benefits, single-parent families under protection, disabled persons with an average monthly urban worker income of 100% or less, and persons with 50% or less of the average monthly urban worker income.
The rental period is initially 2 years for both jeonse rental and purchase rental. If conditions are met, it can be renewed up to 9 times, allowing residence for up to 20 years.
The jeonse deposit limit per household is 90 million KRW, and after excluding the tenant's burden of 5%, up to 85.5 million KRW can be supported.
Tenants pay 5% of the jeonse deposit as a deposit and monthly rent at an interest rate of 1-2% per year.
In particular, the interest rate is reduced by up to 0.5 percentage points depending on the number of minor children, and a preferential interest rate of 0.2 percentage points is applied to livelihood and medical benefit recipients.
For purchase rental housing, through the 'Gyeonggi-do Purchase Rental Housing Rental Deposit Support Project' supported by Gyeonggi Province, 50% of the rental deposit, up to 2.5 million KRW, can be supported. Tenants only need to pay monthly rent at about 30% of the nearby market price.
Applications can be submitted from the 6th to the 10th at the administrative welfare center (eup, myeon, dong office) of the applicant's registered residence.
