Gwangju Nam-gu to Hold New Concept Integrity Education '100-Minute Live Concert' on the 26th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Byeong-nae) announced on the 23rd that it will conduct integrity education in the form of a concert using various cultural contents to spread a culture of integrity and create a clean public service society at the Nam-gu Culture and Arts Center on the 26th.
About 100 people are expected to attend the education, including newly appointed public officials since November 28 last year, senior officials at grade 5 or higher, and district council members.
In particular, the newly introduced "100-Minute Live Concert Integrity Education" abandons the previous education method based on the same themes and materials, and is conducted in a form that combines various cultural performances such as skits, performances, and videos to reduce psychological resistance among public officials.
The first stage of the integrity education is the integrity pansori Byeoljubu-jeon, a newly interpreted traditional pansori, performed by a solo singer who beats the buk drum in rhythm with the gosu, delivering the importance of practicing integrity values to the attendees through singing and narration.
The integrity pansori performance lasts about 25 minutes.
Immediately following the pansori stage, a skit titled "A Day of Director Ko," focusing on improper solicitation, will be performed. This skit depicts a situation of exchanging personnel solicitations in the form of a play, aiming to convey the purpose of the Anti-Solicitation Act.
Additionally, the winning entries in the integrity content contest's essay category will be presented as sand art performances titled "The Day I Won First Place" and "Starry Night," and a video screening will be held to inspire a sense of mission and pride through the story of an ordinary public official who quietly does their best at work.
