Thinkware Launches Smartphone-Connected Built-in Black Box 'iNavi F3000'
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Thinkware announced on the 23rd that it will launch the built-in style 2-channel black box ‘iNavi F3000’.
The iNavi F3000, equipped with front FHD and rear HD video quality, features a design concept different from previous products. Unlike existing models with a basic 3.5-inch LCD, this is a non-LCD model with a compact and slim configuration, reducing contact and exposure area to create a design that enhances integration with the vehicle's interior.
Instead of an LCD, it supports connection with the dedicated application ‘Thinkware Dash Cam Link’ through smartphone tethering using the internally embedded Wi-Fi. Through the application, users can wirelessly access functions such as real-time video streaming and downloading, SNS sharing, and black box setting changes.
Recording functions necessary not only during driving but also while parking are applied. It supports various recording modes including continuous, event (impact), and manual recording, and also features a low-power parking impact recording function that can store more than twice the video compared to general parking recording. The ‘Format Free 2.0’ function ensures stable video storage and allows users to check videos directly on PC or smartphone without file conversion or a dedicated viewer, enabling easy video review when needed.
It also supports the ‘Safe Driving Assistant’ function, which records driving location and speed information through an external GPS attachment and guides speed enforcement zones to help ensure safe driving.
The ‘Battery Discharge Prevention’ function monitors the vehicle battery in real time during parking and automatically cuts off the black box power if the voltage falls below the set threshold to maintain and manage stable power. The ‘High Temperature Auto Shutdown’ function is also standard, which automatically detects high temperatures inside the vehicle caused by sunlight and stops recording to protect the device. After-sales support is provided free of charge for two years in case of product malfunction.
