[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 22nd that it will conduct a small-scale organizational restructuring by separating and newly establishing teams such as the Ecology, Environment, and Energy Education Team and the Technical Talent Development Team.
The Office of Education explained that it is implementing an organizational restructuring at the team level to respond to the changing educational environment following the COVID-19 pandemic. The plan is to minimize staff increases by reallocating personnel while separating tasks within departments.

The newly established teams include the Remote Education Team, Ecology, Environment, and Energy Education Team, High School Curriculum Team (related to the High School Credit System), Integrated Education Team (special education integration), Administrative Adjudication Team, Education Space Management Team, and Technical Talent Development Team, totaling seven teams. With this restructuring, the number of teams within the Office of Education will increase from 82 to 89.
