Prosecutors Likely to Request Arrest Warrant as Early as the 18th
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The CEO of Star Mobility, a former president of Gwangju MBC, who is suspected of connecting Kim Bong-hyun, chairman of Star Mobility and identified as the 'source of Lime's funds,' to the political circle, has been arrested.
The Criminal Division 6 of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Jo Sang-won), investigating the Lime scandal, announced on the 18th that they arrested Lee, CEO of Star Mobility, around 8 a.m. the previous day.
The arrest warrant is valid for 48 hours, and the prosecution is expected to soon request an arrest warrant for Lee.
A prosecution official stated, "We cannot disclose the specific charges against Lee," adding, "We are reviewing the request for an arrest warrant."
It is known that Chairman Kim, currently in custody, testified during the prosecution investigation that he met with Assemblyman A of the Democratic Party through the introduction of CEO Lee and handed over tens of millions of won in cash and luxury suits.

It is also reported that CEO Lee, during his tenure at Star Mobility, met with a senior Blue House official he was acquainted with and Assemblyman B of the Democratic Party to request assistance in resolving matters related to the Lime case.
