The masks are printed with campaign slogans recommended by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency for practicing social distancing in daily life, featuring catchy phrases such as “2m! The distance that protects each other,” “Wise quarantine life,” “Arm's length healthy distance,” and “Social distancing life vaccine.”
A city official said, “Recently, COVID-19 has been spreading in clusters mainly in the metropolitan area, and due to the warmer weather, most visitors are coming without masks. Since medical masks are disposable, we are producing washable cotton masks and providing them to visitors at the Jinju Welfare Call Center.”
