KT Releases New TV Commercial "My Name is Noh Hyedam" Featuring 'Putting Heart Into It'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] On the 18th, KT unveiled a new TV commercial for the 'Sharing the Heart' campaign, dedicated to each and every customer, featuring 'No Hyedam, a child.'
The KT Sharing the Heart campaign embodies the will and sincerity to strive for a better life for every individual in the nation through warm, people-centered technology.
No Hyedam (9), who starred in the commercial, was diagnosed with sensorineural hearing loss at the age of 2 in 2014 and underwent cochlear implant surgery at Yonsei University Severance Hospital. Since then, she has been consistently receiving rehabilitation treatment by attending KT's 'KT Kkumpoom Classroom,' a support program for hearing-impaired children.
KT's latest TV commercial highlights Hyedam's joyful daily learning journey and her story of confidently communicating with the world. After her cochlear implant surgery, Hyedam affectionately calls her cochlear implant device 'BbiBbi' and cheerfully shows the process of practicing listening and speaking.
Since 2003, KT has been running the 'Finding Sound' project for 17 years to help hearing-impaired children communicate with the world and dream of a hopeful future. In addition to supporting cochlear implant surgeries for hearing-impaired children, KT has been operating the 'KT Kkumpoom Classroom' in partnership with Severance Hospital since 2012 to provide auditory and speech rehabilitation therapy.
