Installation of Anti-Adhesion Facilities on Utility Poles at Haedeung-ro, Dobong-gu
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dobong-gu (Mayor Dongjin Lee) has installed 772 anti-illegal advertisement attachment devices in certain sections such as Haedeung-ro to prevent illegal advertisements like flyers and posters that spoil the urban landscape from being attached.
The anti-illegal advertisement attachment devices prevent advertisements from sticking to utility poles and communication poles. They are PVC synthetic resin panels with small pyramid-shaped protrusions.
Since April, the district has installed these devices on 722 utility poles, streetlights, traffic lights, and communication poles in areas including Haedeung-ro, Dodang-ro, and Samyang-ro, completing the final inspection on June 15.
The sections installed this year include a total of seven areas: ▲ Cheonghan Villa Intersection to Dobong Health Center Intersection (195 units) ▲ Dobong Health Center Intersection to Cheonghan Villa Intersection (185 units) ▲ Deokseong Women’s University Entrance to Sang-A Car Service (107 units) ▲ Inchang Korean Medicine Clinic to Seoul Certified Real Estate Agent (99 units) ▲ Seongwon Apartment Intersection to Hakmaeul Apartment Entrance (73 units) ▲ Hakmaeul Apartment Entrance to Seongwon Apartment Intersection (62 units) ▲ Sungmi Police Substation to Deokseong Women’s University Haneul Mirae Hall (51 units).
Since 2017, the district has replaced over 4,200 old anti-attachment devices to enhance the prevention effect and unify the design of the prevention panels.
