Seodaemun-gu, University Student Policy Idea Contest
Measures to Improve Residents' Convenience, Reduce Budget, and Revitalize the Local Economy
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) is soliciting policy ideas from university students to incorporate fresh and innovative ideas into district administration.
The topics include ▲various system improvements that can enhance residents' convenience ▲administrative efficiency ▲budget savings through technology development ▲increasing district revenue ▲measures to revitalize the local economy, and participants can submit policy ideas related to overall district administration.
Any currently enrolled or on-leave students at universities or graduate schools located in Seodaemun-gu can apply individually or as a group of up to five members.
Applicants can download the proposal form from the announcement section on the Seodaemun-gu website, fill in the title, current status and issues, improvement plans, expected effects, etc., and submit it via email (2016011951@sdm.go.kr) by 6 p.m. on July 10.
The district will select one team each for grand prize, excellence, and encouragement awards based on creativity, effectiveness, feasibility, scope of application, and effort, awarding 1 million KRW, 500,000 KRW, and 300,000 KRW respectively.
