Lotte Confectionery Launches 4 New Products Including 'Seolreim Lemonade' to Match Ice Cream Peak Season
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Lotte Confectionery unveiled four new ice cream products on the 16th to mark the peak season for frozen desserts. The lineup includes ‘Eomma-ui Silsu Mango’ (Mom's Mistake Mango), ‘Seolleim Lemonade’, and two types of ‘Light Angel’.
Eomma-ui Silsu Mango uses puree from the ‘Alphonso Mango’, known as the king of mangoes, allowing consumers to fully enjoy the premium, authentic mango flavor. Eomma-ui Silsu is a renewed version of the product ‘Eomma-ui Silsu that froze the entire orchard’, originally launched in 2006, reflecting the retro trend this February. Since its release, it has sold over 2 million units and received positive feedback.
Seolleim Lemonade captures the taste of the representative summer beverage, lemonade, using Sicilian lemons to provide a refreshing sourness and a smooth finish. Sicilian lemons are known for their excellent quality, grown under the hot, dry Mediterranean climate and gentle sea breeze.

Light Angel also introduced two pint-sized ice cream variants. The products include ‘Light Angel Yogurt’, characterized by a tangy yogurt flavor, and ‘Light Angel Coffee’, which features a sweet and slightly bitter taste using concentrated Colombian coffee extract. The newly launched Light Angel two types contain 280 kcal, about half the calories of similar ice milk products. Considering that an average bowl of cooked rice contains 300 kcal, these have fewer calories than a bowl of rice. This product reduces calorie concerns, allowing those on diets to enjoy it without worry. The two Light Angel products are available for purchase online, and a ‘Launch Commemoration 3+1 Promotion’ is being held on Kakao Makers until the 21st.
