Socar Launches Sales of Used Carnival from 'Tada Basic'
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Socar announced on the 15th that it will offer discounted sales of used Carnivals, which were utilized for operating 'Tada Basic,' to its members.
From 2 PM on the 15th until September 7, Socar will sell 100 units of 2019 used Carnivals to its members over a period of three months. The vehicles for sale are 2019 The New Carnival 11-seater 2.2 Diesel Prestige models.
The Carnival operation period ranges from 9 months up to a maximum of 22 months, with mileage from the 10,000 km range up to a maximum of 80,000 km. Socar explained that all vehicles have undergone performance inspection and maintenance, exterior steam cleaning, sterilization and disinfection, polishing, and other merchandising processes.
The sales are conducted directly through the Socar application (app), minimizing distribution processes to enhance price competitiveness. The 11-seater model is approximately 10-15% cheaper compared to the market price, and if an option to convert the 11-seater model to a 9-seater is added, it can be purchased at a price up to 17% lower than the existing 9-seater Luxury trim.
All processes from vehicle inquiry to purchase are conducted contactlessly. Users can search for vehicles on the Socar app according to various conditions such as price, mileage, model year, and accident history. Then, detailed information such as the special features of each selected vehicle, warranty, convenience features, and insurance history can be compared at a glance.
A 'Test Drive' service is also provided, allowing users to experience the vehicle before making a decision. Unlike the existing used car service method where purchase contracts or subscriptions can be withdrawn, users can pay a certain usage fee and drive the vehicle directly for 3 days (72 hours).
Through the delivery service, vehicles can be received at the desired location, and users can control the vehicle in the same way as a regular Socar vehicle using the Socar app smart key. Subsequent purchase contracts, loan and insurance applications, as well as vehicle returns can all be done contactlessly through the Socar app.
