The Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour S-Oil Championship (total prize money 700 million KRW) was halted by bad weather for the second consecutive year. The remaining matches of the 2nd round scheduled on the 14th at Elysian Golf Club in Jeju City, Jeju Island (par 72, 6,642 yards) were repeatedly postponed due to thick fog and eventually canceled. The KLPGA Tour canceled the final 3rd round at 9 a.m. and declared the tournament over at 3 p.m. Choi Hye-jin (21, Lotte), who scored 8 under par on the first day, is in first place.
According to regulations, the 1st round is not recognized as an official tournament. Prize money is also excluded from the rankings. 75% of the total prize money is distributed differentially up to joint 60th place, and the remaining players share the rest of the prize money. Choi Hye-jin received 94.5 million KRW. It is interesting that she is the defending champion who made a comeback victory last year. This year, she took the lead by shooting 8 under par on the first day and added 3 under par over 9 holes on the second day, competing for the championship from joint 2nd place (11 under par), just one stroke behind.

Kim Ji-young 2 (24, SK Networks) was the most unfortunate. She had finished the previous morning's group with 8 under par, rising to the lead by one stroke (12 under par). With the 2nd round results erased, she dropped back to joint 19th place at 4 under par.
