[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] A confirmed case of COVID-19 has been reported at the CJ Logistics Yeongdeungpo branch. Accordingly, CJ Logistics has suspended operations at the branch and initiated disinfection measures.
According to CJ Logistics on the 11th, a delivery driver A (in his 60s) working at the Yeongdeungpo branch tested positive for COVID-19. CJ Logistics was notified of this by health authorities and suspended operations and closed the Yeongdeungpo branch from 9 a.m. on the same day. They also conducted an initial disinfection on their own and, in consultation with the health authorities, carried out a second disinfection.
The driver is known to have worked during the 8th and 9th. He did not come to work on the 10th, the day he was tested. Health authorities and CJ Logistics have conducted diagnostic tests on all 250 employees, including those who had close contact with A inside the terminal.
