Haenam-gun Provides Free 'Love PC' to Information-Disadvantaged Groups
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 11th that it will distribute Love Computers to information-disadvantaged groups in the area.
The Love Computer Distribution Project refurbishes replaced administrative work computers and provides them to low-income groups. Since 2004 until last year, a total of 1,425 used computers have been distributed.
This year, 50 CPUs and 50 monitors will be distributed to information-vulnerable groups including persons with disabilities, basic livelihood security recipients, near-poverty groups, multicultural families, single-parent families, and children’s homes. Applications for distribution are being accepted.
Applicants can visit the Information Management Center on the 2nd floor of the Culture and Arts Center, the town or township offices, or submit the application by mail. The application period is from the 15th to the 19th of this month.
