[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) is supporting quarantine supplies such as masks and thermometers to schools in the area to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) as all grades in elementary, middle, and high schools begin in-person classes.
This support for quarantine supplies was prepared to prevent COVID-19 infection among students and to proactively respond to the risk of community infection that may occur through schools.
The support targets 33,850 students and staff attending 45 schools in the area, including elementary, middle, and high school students and faculty.
On the 9th, the district office held a mask packaging event with volunteers in the main auditorium, and on the 10th and 11th, a total of 338,500 dental masks, 10 masks per person, will be distributed collectively to schools in the area.
In addition, a total of 133 non-contact thermometers will be delivered along with a letter to check students' fever symptoms.
