Chosun University Ranks 1st Among Private Universities in Honam in Nature Index Educational Institution Rankings
Selected for 2 Consecutive Years... Research Competitiveness Up 187% Compared to Previous Year
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University (President Min Youngdon) has been honored as the No. 1 private university in Honam in the '2020 Nature Index-Academic' ranking of educational institutions announced by the world-renowned academic journal Nature.
The Nature Index is an indicator of research competitiveness for universities and research institutions published by Nature.
It objectively presents research achievements by analyzing the affiliated institutions of researchers who published papers in 82 leading international academic journals last year, the contribution of co-authors, and weighted scores by academic fields.
Chosun University maintained its position as the No. 1 private university in Honam in the domestic ranking for 2020, following last year.
In particular, Chosun University's research competitiveness in 2019 increased by 187% compared to 2018.
