Guho Plus Launches 'Blue Lemon' Hot Summer Collection
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Samsung C&T Fashion Division's minimal young contemporary brand Kooho Plus announced on the 9th that it has launched the 'Hot Summer Season Collection' themed 'Blue Lemon.'
Kooho Plus chose Blue Lemon as the theme for this Hot Summer Collection. The brand developed a unique graphic expressing a fresh lemon in the signature color blue.
Along with T-shirts and eco bags featuring the graphic, the collection introduced cool and unique items such as sleeveless tops, dresses, banding skirts, and short pants that complete distinctive styles.
Kooho Plus proposed a lively point look by pairing wide cropped pants with a short-sleeve T-shirt featuring the Blue Lemon graphic. The Blue Lemon T-shirts were released in two styles: regular fit and semi-over fit. They come in white and the season color apple green, made from soft cotton material with silket processing for excellent comfort.
Additionally, a feminine atmosphere was created with a look combining a white sleeveless top and a refreshing beige long skirt. The styling suggested a comfortable yet sophisticated look by matching a top with attractive drape details and a banding skirt with front and back slits as a point.
The collection also showcased a clean mood linen blend wrap dress, an asymmetrical sleeveless blouse and skirt setup made from subtly glossy luxurious material, and casual banding wide and short pants.
Various types of summer accessories also stood out. These included eco bags featuring the Blue Lemon graphic, mini cross bags and sun caps made of refreshing raffia material, bonnets (hats that cover the entire head from behind, exposing only the face and forehead) with button straps as a point, and white slides made of cowhide leather.
Yoonshin Bae, head of Kooho Plus Group, said, “We prepared minimal yet cool products unique to Kooho Plus so that millennial women do not lose their stylishness even in hot weather,” adding, “Try creating a point with a fresh graphic T-shirt or a 'Kku-an-kku' (styled but effortless) look by matching a feminine blouse with banding skirts or pants.”
Meanwhile, Kooho Plus operated an offline pop-up store at Galleria Department Store Apgujeong Branch, receiving positive responses from women in their 20s and 30s. High cost-performance products with simple designs and unique details such as button-detail short jackets, back slit semi-over fit jackets, and unbalanced hemline skirts went into reorder.

In the future, Samsung C&T Fashion Division plans to communicate with millennial customers by opening pop-up stores at major department stores in key commercial areas, in addition to online channels such as the integrated online mall SSF Shop and W Concept.
