Up to 20,000 KRW Monthly Discount in 9 Areas Including Convenience Stores and Mobile Payments
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Kookmin Card launched a new product targeting Generation Z, the 'KB Kookmin Chekchek Check Card,' on the 8th.
This card analyzes the consumption patterns of Generation Z, born from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s, and offers up to 20,000 KRW monthly discount benefits across nine categories including convenience stores, coffee, simple payments, and public transportation. Additionally, it features the unique patterns of the online fashion edit shop Wiggle Wiggle in its design, presented alongside the basic design.
The card provides discounts of 1,000 to 2,000 KRW per transaction in nine categories based on the previous month's usage: ▲Convenience stores (CU Convenience Store) ▲Coffee (Starbucks) ▲Movies (CGV) ▲Shopping (10x10) ▲Online simple payments (Naver Pay, Kakao Pay, SSG Pay) ▲Beauty (Olive Young, optical shops) ▲Online bookstores (YES24, Kyobo Bookstore) ▲Culture (Interpark Ticket) ▲Public transportation (bus, subway).
Discounts are applied when spending at least 10,000 KRW per transaction in convenience stores, coffee, movies, and shopping; at least 20,000 KRW per transaction in online simple payments, beauty, online bookstores, and culture; and at least 30,000 KRW per transaction in public transportation.
Discount benefits can be received within a monthly integrated discount limit of up to 10,000 KRW if the previous month's usage is 300,000 KRW or more, and up to 20,000 KRW if 600,000 KRW or more.

Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Card is also holding a launch event for the KB Kookmin Chekchek Check Card. Customers who issue the card by the end of July will receive double discount benefits in the shopping and simple payment categories until the end of August. Additionally, among cardholders, 300 people will be selected by lottery to receive a random box containing Wiggle Wiggle products such as an iPad pouch and picnic mat.
