Gwangju Bank Holds Launch Ceremony for 'One Institution·One Organization One Clean Zone' Environmental Volunteer Activity
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 4th that it held a launch ceremony for the ‘One Institution·Organization One Clean Zone’ environmental volunteer activity at the 5·18 Democracy Square, attended by Song Jong-wook, President of Gwangju Bank, about 40 executives and employees, and Im Taek, Mayor of Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
The ‘One Institution·Organization One Clean Zone’ environmental volunteer activity is an initiative by Dong-gu, Gwangju, which declared the first year of ‘Making Dong-gu Free of Trash.’ It promotes a cleanliness campaign agreement with various institutions and organizations in the district, designates clean zones, and practices responsibilities for cleaning and creating alley gardens.
Earlier, on the 28th of last month, Gwangju Bank signed a business agreement with Dong-gu to designate ‘One Institution·Organization One Clean Zone,’ promising to actively address local household waste issues and environmental pollution by designating clean zones for 13 branches in the Dong-gu area, including the Gwangju Bank headquarters.
